1-1 Breathwork Therapy Sessions

  • Breathwork helps with a WIDE range of presenting issues. It is a gentle yet dynamic process of conscious connected breathing. And it is THE most effective way I know of for deep and lasting change.
  • I often couple Breathwork with Psychotherapy sessions due to the fact that clients often comment that Breathwork is more efficient (quicker) and effective at providing clarity, releasing held emotions/tension and in providing a self directive and empowering tool that you can take with you. 
While I value talking therapy, and provide this service, Breathwork sessions have the effect of getting to the heart of issues, quickly. We can then use talking therapy to integrate and work a little more deeply with the issues that you present with.

Individual Sessions and Group Sessions are available 

Breathwork Therapy works on a number of levels:
  • Body - Release of held tension, emotions, stress, trauma; freeing the body from old energy and unexpressed emotions; allowing more oxygen in the body (great for health!) and improving body image and body acceptance.
  • Mind - Feel at peace; gaining clarity and self understanding; understanding core issues and unmet needs and how to meet these in a healthy way; gaining peace with new perspective; coming from action rather than reaction; being resourceful. 
  • Spirit - Greater connection to self; connecting with others; coming from love rather than fear.

How can I expect to feel after a session?  While everyone's experience of Breathwork is different, many people express that they feel 'lighter' 'balanced' 'clear' and 'at peace' after a session. If your session involved body release, your body is likely to feel lighter, healthier, accepted, nourished or supported. Everyone will experience this differently.

In each session you will be supported to integrate your experience and bring the learnings into your life now. While one Breathwork session will definately provide results for you, most people find that a number of sessions over a period of time is extremely beneficial, allowing time and practical support for healing and solid transformation.

Session Information

Individual appointments for Breathwork sessions are held weekdays and some evenings.
Your initial appointment is 2 hours. Subsequent appointments are between 1.5 - 3 Hours depending on what works best for you. Breathwork requires integration time and rushing the session is not desirable. 
Some clients choose a series of weekly  hour Breathwork sessions, which are particularly suited for those working with anxiety, depression, labour preparation and/or breath mentoring. 

Yes Breathwork is more than suitable for pregnancy and the post natal period, and is an excellent way to prepare your body and mind for conscious birth and parenting; as well as debriefing any fears and/or birth trauma. 

Breathwork may also include Soul Retrieval work, Reiki, Chakra Clearing and Shamanic Journey work.
